Role Description
This is a full-time remote role as a Sales Executive at Biologos focused on custom biologics sales such as media, buffers, reagents, enzymes, and sera in the Greater Boston area and east coast. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue by developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships. You will identify and pursue opportunities for growth within the biologics and life sciences market. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Knowledge of biologics, cell culture, and life sciences
Demonstrated experience in Boston/East Coast B2B sales within the biologics or life sciences industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Self-motivated and target-driven
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Company Description
Biologos has been serving the biologicals industry since 1976, producing high quality sterile chemical reagents, cell culture media and serums used in human tissue processing (tissue banks) and animal vaccine development and manufacture. Included among our clients are the top five animal health companies in the world and many of the largest tissue banks in America. Our facility is ISO-13485 and cGMP certified and includes a Class 7 clean room with Class 5 filling capabilities. Biologos was acquired by a private equity firm, Evolve Capital, in late 2015 and has more than doubled in size since the acquisition. We are a small company focused on a growth strategy, organically and through acquisition. Our operations occupy four buildings in Montgomery, IL and will be relocating to a new site north of I88 and west of I355 in Glendale Heights within the next 9 months.

Role Description
This role will initially focus on general tasks in reagent, cell culture and serum processing and filtration. This will include working within the production and clean room processing teams to formulate, mix and prepare chemical products for filling into small and mid-size containers while following disciplined sterile/aseptic processing practices. This includes working with delicate and sensitive laboratory and measuring equipment, calibrated machinery, and chemical reagents. Ultimately, the individual will transition into the filling of sterile materials into containers in a clean room environment. All tasks require following manufacturing SOPs and good laboratory practices (GLP/GMP). This position includes a 15%+ quarterly bonus based on company performance, paid quarterly, and includes a signing bonus.
Responsibilities
Clean, prepare, and assemble filtration and associated equipment
Operate light equipment adjust product as required
Inspect and track product and processes during production
Labeling, packaging, and inspecting finished product
Ensure quality and accuracy of final product
Follow batch record instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition in a 5S environment
Report defective material or questionable conditions
Contribute and adhere to all safety and quality requirements
Weighing out materials and monitoring formulas closely
Recording measurements and activities in detailed production records
Preparing and assembling tubing manifolds
Supporting clean room technicians by providing supply materials, packaging, etc.
Utilize production reporting and inventory management software
Gaining skills and training necessary to do liquid, sterile product filling in a clean room environment
Maintaining the cleanliness of the production and lab areas as well as equipment
Involvement in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
Other duties as assigned to support successful, quality production output, testing and meet customer needs
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with testing equipment and processes
Chemistry knowledge and familiarity
BS or AS degree in chemistry, biology or other science discipline preferred
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn new disciplines
Exposure to regulated environments (ISO, FDA, etc.)
